Siskiyou Music Project welcomes back Occidental Gypsy for a performance of new world gypsy jazz music at Paschal Winery. Occidental Gypsy plays an exhilarating blend of gypsy swing, jazz and world music that enraptures the listener with a complex acoustic sound, burnished by smooth vocals reminiscent of the first era of swing.
The group is based in New England and will be touring the west coast promoting their latest CD, 44070. The will also be performing at Django Fest Northwest as part of this tour.
