Siskiyou Music Project welcomes back LA based vocalist Kathleen Grace for a performance on Sunday, November 6 at Paschal Winery. Kathleen Grace has traveled the world sharing her pure sound and authentic storytelling with audiences from New York to South America. Audiences worldwide have lauded her soaring voice whether she is singing a great American classic or an award-winning original. Grace was a finalist in the Montreux International Jazz Vocal Competition and was awarded a spot in the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency for composers at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She also runs the jazz voice program at the esteemed Thornton School of Music at USC. Her latest album No Place To Fall is the evolution of Grace as a naturally exquisite jazz vocalist and songwriter whose soulful instincts are honed by her experience in jazz, folk and the blues. She will be joined by her trio featuring Sam Howard on bass and Storm Nilsson on guitar. The performance will feature the eclectic music that has become a signature at Grace concerts featuring works from Duke Ellington to Steve Winwood to her own jazz and folk inspired compositions.
